Minsk National Airport is the only major airport in Belarus and is mostly used by the national state-owned airline Belavia. The airport began regular flights in 1983 and by 1990 passenger traffic reached 2.2 million passengers. In 2019, the airport handled 5,100,000 passengers.

Minsk National Airport is located approximately 26 miles/42 km east of the capital Minsk.

Passengers traveling to and from Minsk National Airport can find simple and comfortable transfer opportunities, including:

• Buses: Passengers will find regular-route buses to and from Minsk Airport, including no. 300Э and 173Э. Bus no. 300 runs regularly between the airport and the city center. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. There are also shuttle buses available, including no. 1400-TK and no. 1430-TK. The shuttle buses run between Minsk and Minsk National Airport. The airport bus stop is opposite Gate 5-6
• Taxis: Taxis are available at Minsk Airport. Visitors will find the taxi stand directly in front of the Arrivals Hall of the terminal. A taxi trip from Minsk National Airport to the city center costs between 30 BYR to 40 BYR and takes about 40 minutes
• Trains: There is no direct train connection from Minsk National Airport to the city center of Minsk. However, once passengers get to Minsk by bus, taxi, or car there are excellent railway connections to take you to your further destination
• Airport Shuttles: Travelers can find various hotels and resorts that provide a shuttle service for your disposal to get you to and from MSQ Airport
• Car Rental Companies: There is a range of car rental companies at Minsk Airport

All passengers can easily get to and from Minsk National Airport by road. Travelers will find two highways (M2 and M4) between the city and the airport. If you are in central Minsk, simply take Praspyekt Nyezalyezhnastsi northeast, merging onto the M2 highway. Then continue along the M2 until you reach the airport. The travel time from the capital to the airport is approximately 40 minutes.

Drop-off and pick-up of passengers at Minsk National Airport

All visitors at Minsk National Airport can find easily accessible drop-off and pick-up areas.

If you are going to pick up or drop off a passenger at MSQ you can use the pick-up/drop-off zone next to the P2 parking lot. This is a short-term parking lot for departures, reserved for picking up and dropping off passengers. The walking distance to the terminal is very short, making this a convenient spot for any pick-ups or drop-offs.

Minsk National Airport provides assistance to travelers with disabilities or reduced mobility (PRM). All passengers will be able to find assigned staff to help provide assistance to passengers with disabilities every day of the year, at MSQ Airport. Yet, it is highly recommended that any passenger who may require additional assistance contact the airline company or travel agency before arriving at the airport.
